This has led me to some particularly memorable experiences, including playing in a rock band, hitchhiking across Europe, visiting all 50 U.S. states, and starting my own marketing agency.

Marketing Agency

Living out of a suitcase, i’ve spent most of my professional career working remote jobs. After several years of acquiring the necessary skills, i decided i wanted to challenge myself by building my own agency from the ground up. My initial services ranged from social media marketing to video/photo production, but i eventually found my niche in email/SMS marketing and web development.

After 6 years of working with dozens of brands spanning every industry imaginable, 20/20 Visuals has presently generated $5M+ in total agency-attributed revenue.

INDIE ROCK BAND

Walden

What started as a passion project playing in a Pizza Hut would quickly take me across the country in a van with 3 very smelly dudes. My band, Walden, now has over 5M+ career streams, a 50-state tour under our belt, and major festival appearances including Bonnaroo, Summerfest, and Kaaboo.

Responsible for the band’s creative direction, I have helped produce many music videos, press photos, album releases, crowdfunding campaigns, merchandise, websites, and more.

DIY 50-STATE TOUR

WHERE’S WALDEN TOUR

The Where’s Walden Tour was our band’s response to a pandemic that erased touring, dissolved our booking agency, and eliminated our revenue streams. I wanted us to return bigger and bolder than ever, with an idea that would rally the band and ignite our fan base again.

As travel restrictions started to lift, the idea for the Where’s Walden Tour was born; a self-booked DIY tour of all 50 states that relied on crowdfunding to get the band from state to state. We gamified the crowdfunding campaign by allowing fans to sponsor tanks of gas, hotel rooms, and experiences such as skydiving. Donors received personal shout-outs from the band’s social media.

The tour ended up grossing over $80k, about 30% of which was raised through our interactive website, which i designed using Wordpress & WooCommerce.

Red Bull COMPETITION

Can You Make It? Challenge

The Red Bull™ Can You Make It? Challenge was a 7-day competition televised on Red Bull™ TV, in which teams of university students raced across Europe. The catch? No money or cell phones allowed. Only Red Bull™ could be used to barter your way to the finish line.

I created our entry video, which got us selected as one of 165 international teams to participate in the competition amongst thousands of other submissions. This submission video was later recognized at Red Bull™ HQ in Austria.

iOS APP

PingaeA

Pingaea is a mobile iOS app developed by me and another colleague as part of the UGA Entrepreneurship Accelerator Program.

The fully-functional app brings a community of adventurers and unconventional fun-seekers together. Users drop pins of their favorite things to do in a local area, allowing other users within that area to access and experience these things as well, giving feedback through up & downvotes, comments, and pictures.
